Ok, so it may seem like a minuscule issue but when you get the hiccups, you know it isn’t so small(especially if they are really loud!). You may be in an important meeting or in the theater during a quiet romantic movie and BAM!…*Hiccup*…*Hiccup*…*Hiccup*! So Annoying right?
Well, here is a trick I learned/made up based on the ole “paper lunch bag” trick and is just as easy. I can’t believe it works but it does…try it!
Step 1: Ball your hand into a tight fist then loosen it just a tad in order to let air seep through your fingers
Step 2: Make a tunnel with your balled fist.
Step 3: Exhale and put your fist up to your lips and suck air through the tunnel you created. The key is to “barely” let air into the tunnel you are sucking up. It should take you at least 15-20 seconds to inhale your lungs to capacity.
Step 4: Repeat this as many times as needed until your hiccups cease. Usually will only take 1 or 2 repetitions to be hiccup free!
