A recent interview with the Former Orlando Magic basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal seem to indicate yes! The NBA Phoenix Suns center is looking to start up a real estate development group in Orlando Florida to aid those in need before foreclosure.

O’neal plans include buying the mortgages of homeowners who have defaulted on their loan and are in the midst of foreclosure due to high interest rates. He would then sell back the home to the original owner, with better terms, and hoping to make a nominal profit.

was just Shaq’s initial appearance with city of Orlando officials and no specific details on his ventures were disclosed. “This isn’t the big powwow meeting,” he said. “I just wanted to say, ‘Hi, this is my group, and we’re interested in helping.’ ”
